It all started with a blue-plastic, film camera. This camera was from JCPenney and was as simple as could be. I loved it. While on a family trip when I was six or seven, I casually photographed my sister chasing butterflies in an Iowa field. Having a camera in hand felt natural. It felt normal. I had studied my mom as she captured my entire childhood behind the lens of her own camera, and I was excited for my turn to snap the photos. This feeling transformed into a creative passion that grew and grew. Along the way, I learned something important: A photo has the ability to span generations and transcend time.

With a calm, intentional approach, I guide couples when needed and step back when moments unfold naturally. My goal is for you to feel present, not posed, all day.
